Privacy policy
The short version: we collect only what we need to answer your reservation request, we never use it for anything else, and this site sets no cookies - visits are counted anonymously, without tracking you.

What we collect, and why
The reservation form on the contact page asks for your name, email address, the apartment you'd like, your dates, and an optional comment. We use this for one thing: answering your request and arranging your stay. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR - steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
We never ask for card details or payment data - booking with us is a personal email exchange, not an online checkout. There are no user accounts and no marketing lists.
How your request reaches us
The website is hosted byCloudflare(Cloudflare, Inc.), which relays your form submission to us and keeps standard technical logs (IP address, time, requested page) for security. Your request and our confirmation emails are stored and sent onOracle Cloud Infrastructure servers in Frankfurt, Germany (EU). Both act as our processors and do not use your data for their own purposes.
How long we keep it
If your request doesn't lead to a stay, we delete the correspondence within 12 months. If you do stay with us, Slovenian law requires us to register guests with the authorities (the eTurizem guest reporting system) and to keep accounting records for the statutory periods; we keep booking correspondence for the same period.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies - that's why there is no cookie banner. Fonts and images are served from our own domain. To see how the site is doing we useUmami, a privacy-friendly analytics service that counts visits anonymously: no cookies, no stored IP addresses, nothing that could identify you. We see only aggregate numbers - which pages are read, and roughly where visitors come from. Links to Booking.com or Google Maps take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, or to receive it in a portable format. Just write tostay@guesthousevera.com. You also have the right to complain to the Slovenian supervisory authority: Informacijski pooblaščenec, Dunajska cesta 22, 1000 Ljubljana, www.ip-rs.si.
